Whether you are learning French for the first time or want to brush-up on what you learned in school, the AFC offers a range of classic classes three sessions a year to fit your needs and will help you improve your French. Small and biweekly regular classes are awaiting for you!
AFC offers 3 sessions of 10 weeks during the year:
session 1 in Fall before Thanksgiving,
session 2 in Winter after New Year to start the year in a good way, and
session 3 in Spring just before the Summer comes to Charlotte! session of 8 weeks only that could have 2 more weeks.

AFC offers 3 Levels of French:
Beginner: from complete beginner, never done any French, or some French in High School some times ago, or few French courses and all the Level A1 of the European criteria.
Intermediate: for students who passed the beginner level, or students who have a good understanding of the language, and all the Level A2 and B1 of the European criteria.
Advanced: For students at ease with the language, who would like to improve or maintain their proficiency in French, and Level B2 of the European criteria.
Fluent: Students with high proficiency in French who would like to maintain their level, and all Levels C1 and C2 of the European criteria. Please for class schedule contact firstname.lastname@example.org

AFC offers 2 possibilities: twice a week during week days, once a week on Week End (Friday, Saturday or Sunday)
All Regular Classes during the week days are held twice a week for 90 minutes on Monday-Wednesday or Tuesday-Thursday day time or evening time.
AFC believes that a student should have the opportunity to learn, listen and discuss in a language to better it at least twice a week for a total of 3 hours.
However, AFC understands the complexity of modern work and life, so AFC offers now the possibility to have regular classes once a week for 2 hours on Friday evening, Saturday morning or Sunday evening.
In addition, Café-Rencontre held once a month on the 2nd Saturday of the month are friendly free conversation open to all. The Apéritifs held monthly are either a potluck or happy hours are also free friendly conversations. Check our website for dates. All students are welcome.
Special AF student’s potluck are held twice a year, in December and in May.
Regular Classes that do not meet minimum (4 students) are canceled. So, register early! Let us know you are coming!
